AlphaFinder ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our prediction market analysis platform.

By using AlphaFinder, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

Account Information:

• Name and email address (via Google OAuth)
• Profile picture (from your OAuth provider)
• Account preferences and alert configurations

Usage Data:

• Pages viewed, features used, and interactions with the platform
• Device type, browser, operating system, and IP address
• Timestamps of access and session duration

Payment Information:

• Subscription status and plan type
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details

Communication Data:

• Messages sent through our contact form
• Newsletter subscription email address

• Provide and maintain the AlphaFinder platform
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Process subscription payments and manage billing
• Send alert notifications based on your configured preferences

• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase — Database and authentication (stores account data securely)
• Stripe — Payment processing (handles billing and credit card data under their PCI-compliant infrastructure)
• Beehiiv — Newsletter management (stores newsletter subscriber emails)
• Google OAuth — Authentication provider (we receive name, email, and profile picture)
• Vercel — Hosting and deployment (processes web requests)

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their respective policies.

Your data is stored in Supabase's cloud infrastructure with Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring that users can only access their own data. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, and regular security audits.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

AlphaFinder uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels for third-party advertising purposes.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, which may be retained for up to 7 years).

Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

GDPR (EU/EEA): If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest (providing the service) and consent (newsletter/alerts).

CCPA (California): If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

AlphaFinder is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who assist in operating the platform (listed in Section 4)
• When required by law, regulation, or legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of AlphaFinder, our users, or the public
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to users)
